Roswell Screen Caps

Busted

Aired October 9, 2001

Liz-"You know, just the fact that we, like pulled it off. Everything...It's just like anything's possible right now. Look, and Max - I know what we did is totally, totally wrong and completely illegal, but I just loved it. You know?
In a million years, in one million years, did you ever think?"
Max-"Yeah."

Liz-"So now that we have the diamond, we have to find the spaceship, right?"
Max-"Well, not right this second."
Liz-"Okay."

Mr.Parker-"Liz! It's 2:00 in the morning! Where the hell have you been? Upstairs!! Where were you?"

Liz-"Nowhere!"
Mr. Parker-"And what are you wearing?"
Liz-"Clothes!"

Liz-[holding the gun] "So, why do we need this?"
Max-"Road trip."
Liz-"Where?"
Max-"There are 5 government storage facilities large enough to hold the ship. It's gotta be in one of them. Don't worry. It won't be loaded."
Liz-"To go in there with a gun...that's a felony. Why can't I just distract the clerk?"
Max-"That's not enough time. I need at least 5 minutes to get downstairs, see if the ship's there, and if it works."
Liz-"And what if it works? I mean, you just go off to Antar and what? I mean, what if you never come back?"
Max-"I will come back. And I'm not leaving yet. First I have to see if this is even a possibility. I'm gonna have to figure out how to navigate it."
Liz-"We can't get caught."
Max-"We won't."
Max-"Let's go."
Liz-"What do you mean?"
Max-"Let's get out of here."
Liz-"Max, and then what? Just be on the run for the rest of our lives? We'd never be able to go home again."
Max-"That's not as bad as it sounds."
Liz-"No, Max. I'm sorry but that's just too much for me. I'm not ready to give up my home or my family."
Max-"I wish we could trade places."
Liz-"No, no, no, Max. Okay. I don't. You're free. We came here for a reason because your son is in trouble. Now you need to go back and do what we came for. You know, see if your ship works. Come on. I don't want this to all be for nothing."

Max-"I can't ever tell you the truth. Please, don't make me lie to you."
Mr. Evans-"I'm sorry, Son. Silence is not acceptable. And neither is a lie, not after what we've just been through. No, not under my roof."
Max-"I can respect that. I just want to thank you for helping Liz. I'll always appreciate that. I'll come by home to pack my things. Goodbye Dad."

LAST LAUGH

Don't you love the sound of the last laugh, my friend?
Don't you love the sound of the last laugh at the end?
Down in the gutter with the metal soldiers,
Down in the scubboard with the drunken sailors,
Down in the gutter with the metal soldiers,
But, the last laugh, Baby, it's yours.
And, don't you love the sound, of the last laugh goin' down?

Games you thought you'd learned
You neither lost or won.
And dreams have crashed and burned
But you still keep on keepin' on.

Out on the highway with the roadgang workin'
Up on a mountain with a cold wind blowin'
Out on the highway with the roadgang workin'
But the last laugh, Baby, is yours.

They had you cryin' but you came up smiling'
They had you crawlin' but you came up flyin'
They had you cryin' but you came up smilin'
And the last laugh, Baby, is yours
And don't you love the sound, of the last laugh goin' down?
Well, don't you love the sound, of the last laugh goin' down?
